What was the “GoldenEye” villain’s goal?

In the 1995 James Bond movie GoldenEye , the villain Alec Trevelyan (006) had a complex plan involving: Using a powerful satellite weapon called “GoldenEye” to cause an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that would disable all electronic devices across London. The goal was to crash the financial markets and steal billions by creating chaos and seizing control over banking systems. It was a high-tech heist and act of sabotage, using advanced technology to gain power and disrupt society. How does this relate to Elon Musk’s Neuralink and BCI projects? The connection lies mainly in the technology, surveillance, and control themes : GoldenEye’s satellite weapon represents the use of advanced tech to control or disrupt people’s lives on a massive scale. Neuralink’s brain-computer interface (BCI) technology aims to connect human brains directly with computers — which could bring incredible medical benefits but also raises fears about mind control, invasive surveillance, and d...

Introduction In a world increasingly shaped by technology, digital privacy and human rights are being pushed to the forefront of global discourse. However, for one victim, Faizur Mohammad Faisal, the line between surveillance and oppression has been tragically blurred. Faisal, a victim of grave human rights violations in Bangladesh, has recently uncovered a disturbing connection between U.S. Border Patrol agents and the unlawful smuggling of cutting-edge surveillance devices into Bangladesh. These devices, including brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and Mojo Lenses, were covertly implanted and used to manipulate, monitor, and control him—ultimately violating his fundamental rights. Faisal’s case is a chilling reminder of how state-sponsored actors can exploit technology for abuse, and the need for accountability on an international scale.  The Abduction and Torture: The Beginning of the Nightmare On April 1, 2018, Faisal was abducted by members of the Rapid Action Battal...
